One of the most important tasks for early detection of forest fires is the fire observations from fire watch towers. The fire lookout personnel work 7-24 bases and mostly away from their families and communities during the fire season. These personnel, working in tough conditions, are affected by bad weather conditions, biological factors, and experience psychological disorders. In this study, face to face interview method was implemented in order to study disorders seen in fire lookout personnel working in eight different fire watch towers located in Alanya and Gazipasa Forest Enterprise Directorates. The obtained data were evaluated using the SPSS statistical package program and results were presented in summary tables. It was determined that influenza as the most important discomfort caused by weather condition, insects, bee stings, and allergic effects were seen as the main biological factors, and finally distraction, nervousness and stress were the most common psychological disorders
