dc.description.abstractÖz Bu çalışmada, günümüz şartlarında, çeşitli demografik yapıya sahip bireylerin olimpiyat oyunları hakkındaki görüşlerini ve olimpiyat oyunlarının ülkemizde yapılabilmesi durumuna inanma seviyelerini ortaya koyarak, toplumun olimpiyat oyunları hakkındaki düşüncelerini ve tavrını değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya 213 erkek ve 154 kadın olmak üzere 367 kişi katılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler basit istatistiksel yöntem olan frekans dağılımları ve bağımsız iki grubun bağımlı bir değişkene ilişkin ölçümlerini karşılaştırmak için kullanılan Ki-Kare testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 olarak alınmıştır. Çalışma bulgularına göre katılımcıların Olimpiyat Oyunları hakkındaki görüşlerinin genel anlamda yapıcı olmasının yanında; katılımcıların TMOK'nin faaliyetlerine ilgisiz ve Olimpiyat Oyunları hakkında genel bilgilerinin zayıf olduğu gözlendi. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda olimpiyat oyunlarına hazırlık sürecinde TMOK faaliyetleri topluma tanıtılmalı, katılımcıların konu hakkındaki bilgi eksiklikleri tamamlanmalı ve ilgisi arttırılmalıdır. Toplum, salt futbol kültürü etkisinden kurtarılmalı, entelektüel spor kültürünün geliştirilmesi sağlanmalı, ayrıca olimpiyat oyunlarının mevcut branşları Türk toplumuna görsel medyada tanıtılmalıdır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to evaluate the attitudes and thoughts of the society on the Olympic Games by determining the thoughts of individuals from various social structures and the level of their believing in the possibility of Turkey hosting the. In total 367 subjects participated being 213 men and 154 women. The data has been evaluated by chi-square test used to compare the basic statistical method, frequency distributions and the measurements of two independent groups on a dependent variable. The level of relevance was taken as 0.05. According to the findings of the study, participants' views of the Olympic Games were positive in general. However, it was observed that; the participants were indifferent to the activities of Turkish National Olympic Committee and their general knowledge about the Olympic Games was insufficient. In line with these findings in the process of preparation for the Olympic Games, the activities of Turkish National Olympic Committee should be presented to the society, the lack of information on the subject should be complemented and their interest should be increased. The society should get rid of the impact of mere football culture and intellectual sports culture of should be developed; furthermore, the existing branches of the Olympic Games should be introduced to Turkish society on visual media.en_US
