Determination to Volatile Components in Different Collection Times of Satureja cuneifolia Ten. Naturally Distributed in Akseki (Antalya)

Abstract

Satureja L. is an important genus of the Lamiaceae family, a total of 15 species, including 5 endemic in Turkey (16 taxa) are represented. The material of the study, Satureja cuneifolia Ten. In the vegetation periods of 2019-2020, they were collected from Antalya province (Akseki district Sarıhacılar Yamaç location) in two different vegetation periods (pre-flowering and flowering period). By using solid phase micro extraction technique (SPME), 53 different volatile components were determined in Satureja cuneifolia. P-Cymene (8.93% -14.07%), ?-Terpinene (23.37% -15.96%). %), Thymol (10.22% -15.92%) and Carvacrol (10.98% -14.45%) were identified as the main components by gas chromatography mass spectroscopy (GC-MS). The results showed that volatile compunds mostly consist of monoterpene hydrocarbons classes.Satureja L. Lamiaceae familyasının önemli bir cinsi olup, Türkiye’de 5’i endemik olmak üzere toplam 15 tür (16 takson) ile temsil edilmektedir. Çalışmanın materyali olan Satureja cuneifolia Ten. bitkisi 2019-2020 yılları vejetasyon dönemlerinde, Antalya ilinden (Akseki ilçesi Sarıhacılar Yamaç mevkiinden) iki farklı vejetasyon periyodunda (çiçeklenme öncesi ve çiçeklenme dönemi) toplanmıştır. Katı faz mikro ekstraksiyon tekniği (SPME) kullanılarak, gaz kromatografisi kütle spektrometresi (GC-MS) ile Satureja cuneifolia'da 53 farklı uçucu bileşen belirlenmiştir. P-Simen (%8.93-%14.07), ?- Terpinene (%23.37-%15.96), Timol (%10.22-%15.92) ve Karvakrol (%10.98%-%14.45) Satureja cuneifolia'nın ana bileşenleri olarak tespit edilmiştir. Uçucu bileşen sınıflarına bakıldığında monoterpen hidrokarbonların yüksek oranda olduğu bulunduğu görülmüştür.
