Matematik Öğretmenlerinin 9. ve 10. Sınıf Programını Uygularken Karşılaştığı Sorunlar ve Çözüm Önerileri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı 2013 yılında değiştirilen ve şu anda 9. ve 10. sınıflarda uygulanan matematik programının uygulanması sırasında öğretmenlerin karşılaştığı sorunları ortaya çıkarmak ve çözüm önerileri getirmektir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel araştırma; insan ve grup davranışlarında “niçin” sorusuna cevap arar. Bu araştırmada öğretmenlerin yeni matematik programını uygularken karşılaştıkları durumları incelediğinden olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın çalışma grubu belirlenirken amaçlı örnekleme yönteminden kritik durum örneklemesi kullanılmıştır. Sınıf mevcutlarının kalabalık olmasından dolayı öğretmenlerin öğrencilerle birebir ilgilenme imkanı bulamadıkları için kazanımlara ulaşmada sorunlar yaşadıkları bu araştırmanın sonuçlarından biridir.The purpose of this study is to find out and bring forward solution suggestions for the difficulties encountered by the teachers during the implementation of the current 9th and 10th grade syllabus which went into effect in 2013. Qualitative research method was used for this study. Qualitative research seeks answers for the question “why” in people and group behaviors. Since the difficulties the mathematics teacher encounter during the implementation of the new syllabus, the study made use of phenomenologic design. The study group of this research was determined by the use of purposive sampling method, more specifically; critical case sampling. It is a conclusion of the study that because the populations of the classes are dense, the teachers do not have the possibility to take care of each student, and have difficulty in reaching towards the outcomes.
