Demiryolu Lojistiğinin Karbon Emisyonu, Hız ve Kullanım Tercihi Bakımından Uluslararası Üstünlüğünün Karşılaştırmalı Değerlendirilmesi

dc.description.abstractDünyada ithalat ve ihracatın hızla gelişmesi ile lojistik sektörü de aynı hızda önem kazanmıştır. Ülkeler ve işletmeler güvenilir, düşük maliyetli ve çevre dostu taşıma türlerine yönelmiştir. Bununla beraber taşımacılık sisteminde kullanılan taşıma türlerine yönelik altyapı çalışmaları artış göstermiştir. Uluslararası alanda bu artışların en fazla gözüktüğü taşıma türlerinden biri de demiryolu taşımacılığıdır. Bunun en önemli nedeni, gelecekte minimum düzeyde kullanılması planlanan karbon emisyonudur. Demiryolu taşımacılığında kullanılan yüksek hızlı trenler, karbon emisyonunu minimum düzeye indirecek önemli bir araçtır. Bu trenlerin ülkemizde de kullanılması giderek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, demiryolu lojistik taşımacılığını diğer taşıma modları ile karşılaştırmak ve karbon emisyonu açısından değerlendirmektir. Çalışma kapsamında TÜİK ve OECD verileri kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; Türkiye’nin karayolu, denizyolu ve demiryolu taşımacılık miktarları bakımından 2014-2021 yılları arasında seçilen ülkeler ile karşılaştırıldığında genel olarak geride kaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Türkiye’nin lojistik alanındaki karbon emisyonu sonuçlarına bakıldığında en düşük karbon emisyonu miktarının demiryolu taşımacılığına ait olduğu görülmüştür. Türkiye’nin demiryolu taşımacılık miktarlarının ağırlık bazında ithalatta %0.64, ihracatta ise %0.77 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma sonuçlarının Türkiye’nin gelecek yıllarda lojistik alanında geliştireceği politikalara katkı yapması, politika belirleyicilere yol göstermesi beklenmektedir.
dc.description.abstractWith the rapid development of import and export in the world, the logistics sector has gained importance at the same speed. Countries and businesses have turned to reliable, low-cost and environmentally friendly modes of transport. However, infrastructure studies for the types of transport used in the transport system have increased. One of the modes of transportation in which these increases are seen the most in the international arena is rail transportation. The most important reason for this is the carbon emission, which is planned to be used at a minimum level in the future. High-speed trains used in railway transportation are an important tool that will minimize carbon emissions. The use of these trains in our country is becoming more and more common. The aim of this study is to compare railway logistics transportation with other transportation modes and to evaluate it in terms of carbon emissions. Within the scope of the study, TUIK and OECD data were used. In the results of working; It has been determined that Turkey generally lags behind the selected countries between 2014-2021 in terms of road, maritime and railway transportation amounts. When the carbon emission results in the logistics area of ??Turkey are examined, it is seen that the lowest amount of carbon emission belongs to railway transportation. It has been determined that Turkey's railway transportation amounts are 0.64% in imports and 0.77% in exports on a weight basis. It is expected that the results of this study will contribute to the policies that Turkey will develop in the field of logistics in the coming years, and will guide policy makers.
