dc.description.abstractTürkiye’nin Avrupa Birliğine muhtemel üyeliği, üye ülkeler arasında tartışmalı bir konudur. Ülkeler arası farklı görüşler olmakla birlikte; aynı ülkelerin farklı hükümetlerinde de Türkiye’nin üyeliğine olumlu veya olumsuz yaklaşımlar olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Fransa’da iki farklı cumhurbaşkanının Türkiye’nin üyeliğine yaklaşımları karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. İnceleme öncesinde Türkiye’nin Avrupa Birliği serüveni kısaca ele alınacak ve Fransa’nın konu ile ilgili genel siyasi tutumu ele alınmıştır. Nicolas Sarkozy ve Emmanuel Macron’un Türkiye’nin AB üyeliği ile ilgili söylemlerinin analizi için söylem analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Daha etkili bir analiz için iki cumhurbaşkanının siyasi profilleri çalışmada ortaya koyulmuştur.
dc.description.abstractTurkey's possible membership to the European Union, is a controversial issue among member countries. Although there are different opinions among the member states, the different governments of the countries could have positive or negative approach to Turkey's membership. In this study, two French President's approach to Turkey's membership were comparatively investigated. Before this investigation, the adventure of Turkey's European Union membership briefly discussed and the overall political stance of France were analyzed. To analyse Nicolas Sarkozy’s and Emmanuel Macron’s discourses related to Turkey's EU membership, discourse analysis method was used. The political profiles of the two presidents were revealed in the study for a more effective analysis. With the help of the profile of politician and discourse analysis method, the politics of French state on Turkey's European Union membership has been determined. In order to achieve the purpose of the article, a comparative method has been adopted
