However, their mechanical strength and processability are far from the necessary conditions for many applications. On the other hand, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is the third most produced polymer in terms of quantity, is a common polymer type whose properties can be changed with many additives and thus can be used in many different fields. The resulting blended films find application in areas such as sensors, supercapacitors, electromagnetic shielding, and antistatic coating. In this section, first of all, the electrical, optical, and mechanical properties of CP/PVC mixtures will be examined.
