Polyetherimide (PEI) membrane was utilized for the purification of dimethoxymethane from dimethoxymethane/methanol mixtures. Membranes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Purification tests were performed in different feed methanol concentration and operation temperature. Methanol selectivity value was obtained as infinite.
